Steven Adler, born in 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio, is an American drummer best known as the original percussionist for Guns N’ Roses. Joining the band in the mid-1980s, he contributed to their iconic debut album Appetite for Destruction, playing on hits like “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Welcome to the Jungle.” Celebrated for his energetic, groove-driven style, Adler helped shape the band’s hard-rock sound. Despite personal struggles, he remains a respected figure in rock drumming history.
