Echo & The Bunnymen are an influential English post-punk band formed in Liverpool in 1978, known for their moody atmospheres, poetic lyrics, and shimmering guitars. Fronted by enigmatic singer Ian McCulloch and guitarist Will Sergeant, the band helped define alternative rock in the 1980s with songs like “The Killing Moon,” “Lips Like Sugar,” and “Bring on the Dancing Horses.” Their dark romanticism and cinematic sound left a lasting imprint on indie and alternative music.
